Thank you so much. This was so helpful! I watched it 8 weeks ago right before my double mastectomy and 3 lymph nodes removed with immediate reconstruction straight to implant. I was confident handling my 4 drains and had things in order for my return (bed, mastectomy pillow for car, supplies, shower chair, lanyard, mastectomy vests & hoodies, a mastectomy pillow bed, recliner, 2wks of meals in freezer, etc.) Thank you SO much. I am recovering very well because I followed all of these recommendations.
I’ve come to the conclusion after being diagnosed with cancer recently what a racket the cancer industry is that that women scared out of their freaking minds that they will mutilate themselves. They will burn themselves. They will poison themselves. It’s such a sick joke.
❤thank you for sharing this video! I hope I was in your city!
Danke ProTrainingVids!
I've never seen this, interesting. Only concern is all that fast pulling and pushing of the blood-filled syringes will cause some lysis of RBCs. I would personally do the whole process much slower. Also the needle inside the transfer device can still puncture your skin if you're not careful in filling the tubes. A firm grip and methodical, careful handling of the tubes is essential to mitigate risk.

I had my mastectomies over 9 months ago. I went through having my drains in I followed everything my doctor & my care team told me to do. I am doing stomach exercises to flatten my belly. Because I was bloated & swollen from the mastectomies. I had a stomach as it was from being overweight. And after my surgery it made the bloat worse. Then I still get constipated so I increased my fiber intake. I walked with my drains in but I was really careful. That was why I got both of them removed. I had two drains put in before I left the hospital. I was glad when I finally got to do normal activities again. It takes a lot of patients to go through this surgery. If I didn't have Cancer I would of never done what I did.
This was super informative! Thank you
PLEASE NOTE: Hand hygiene is mandatory prior to donning gloves, as is priming the NSS syringe prior to connecting it to the clave connector.. It is also protocol to scrub the hub before placing a PRIMED NSS syringe for flushing PRE and POST lab draw..These interventions are non-negotiable...
I had this done.. few months back.. im alive.. minimum damage.. good doctor then
Thanks
Great video.
Thanks so much!
I am doing mastectomy in two weeks. Information very helpful. Thanks.
Great video
Thank you, Kim and Becky!!! Brilliant, useful, complete.
Very helpful I’m going through this now Pray for me 🙏🏽
Very helpful, but I am in the UK, and oncology here have mentioned none of this to me! I am due for a single mastectomy in about 3 weeks. Where do I get a heart pillow? Do Amazon have them?
Get a friend to make you one very easy and hardly no cost. Wish i was near you ❤Best to you
Chris - thank you for taking the time to do this. It is as helpful now as it was pre-Covid when we could all show up in person. I got lazy and am coming back to exercise and find your video the perfect fit for me now all over again! Starting slow but will keep working at it and use Meghan and Boomer's videos to change it up when needed. Cheers to you all for your dedication to serving others!
I had a simple mastectomy 5 weeks ago. This video was very helpful! Highly recommend.
What do you mean simple mastectomy ? Flat?
I had a preventative bilateral mastectomy. Best decision due to high risk. You video really helped me get thru it.
Is it ok if we go to happy birthday new
What about if you don't get one of this bag before hand Were can you get one if your doctor or hospital dies nit give you one

Hi Joy, I live in Sweden and we have some other routines here in Sweden and some are the same. I just want to thank you for your information that has been a great information for me even though I live in the other side of the world 🥰hope you don’t mind me writing.
These are some amazing tips. Thank you!
Great video, thank you.
This was soo very informative! I saved it to watch again because I literally have notes to take lol. Thank you for putting this together, I majorly appreciate it!
Thank you I had my cancerous Tumor Removed when I was 50 also my lymph-nodes. Did chemo and radiation Now age 58 in remission I have decided to go have a mysectomy due to the radiation side now weakened and not in line with my right non cancerous breast. I will go over this video very much. 🙏🏼
I think radiation treatment is way overused and very damaging to normal tissue, worse than chemo.
Thank you so much for doing this demo! I've never worked with this type of bag before and was starting to second-guess myself.
I survived ARDS 11 years ago because of this bed.
Anne Cohen, thank u , I’m feeling better ..I do everything W oxygen.dance, electric slide! I’m very happy
that is so amazing. this is what they used to help people with COVID-19? And how about people who have lock-in syndrome as well, like the Epstein-Barre Syndrome?
These beds are BEYOND comfortable! And they save lives! Most people have no memory of being in the bed, but I can tell you from experience, THEY ARE BEYOND COMFORTABLE!!
I was just diagnosed with breast cancer, going to see the surgeon Friday. This video has helped me. Thank you..
How are you doing
My tubes did not look like that, it felt so weird when they pulled them out.
Wish my drains were like that. I have huge hard plastic circles. They are heavy by themselves.
I was in a coma and lived in this bed for 2 months. I am still on oxygen today.so grateful o didn’t die
wow, thanks for sharing. I hope you are feeling so much better. I have never seen this bed before and was very intrigued by its life saving functions.
glad u r here
This helped calm my fears. So appreciated of her time and expertise.
Fucking poison. NEVER.
But some people do! Its still a choice!! This is great information for newly certified chemo nurses!!!
Thank you God, for letting me not have covid last year 🙏❤
Is push pull method recommended ?
Thank you very much.
